The nearest airport to the Char Dham pilgrimage circuit is Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun), approximately 240 km from Yamunotri, the first stop on the yatra. Dehradun is well connected to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata with regular flights. From Dehradun, private cabs arranged by TravMe will transfer you to the starting point of the yatra. For Kedarnath and Badrinath, the closest helipad is at Phata (near Guptkashi), accessible by road from Dehradun or Rishikesh, facilitating helicopter services during the peak season (May to October) for quicker access.

The nearest major railway station is Rishikesh, about 230 km from Yamunotri and 270 km from Badrinath. Rishikesh is connected to major cities like Delhi and Haridwar.
